UP School Holidays: One of the most prominent Hindu festivals, Krishna Janmashtami, falls on August 26 in India. During the festivities, banks and educational establishments, such as schools and colleges, stay closed. On this day, people commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna.
The Lord was born in Mathura, and he grew up in Vrindavan; hence, the event is very important to Uttar Pradesh. Children typically dress up as Radha or Krishna on this day, winning everyone over with their conversation and costumes.
It appears that 67 districts in Uttar Pradesh will get a five-day holiday in a row because of the Police Constable Recruitment Exam.
August was a holiday-filled month because of the prolonged rain that kept schools closed. Then, students had the opportunity to take advantage of the long weekend since they had vacations for both Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day. Now that Janmashtami is approaching, schools in some UP districts will be closed.
