The State Educational Research and Training Council (SCERT) is to establish a control room and command center to monitor teacher training in government schools online in Uttar Pradesh. Using CCTV cameras, SCERT will monitor the training provided at all District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) from the state level.

Action would be taken against those responsible for any discrepancies found. Dr Pawan Sachan, Joint Director of SCERT, stated that this step is being taken to ensure effective teacher training. State-level monitoring will enhance the effectiveness of training provided on various subjects.

Emphasis is being placed on quality training, which is why a training calendar is being prepared for primary and upper primary school teachers. Training will be conducted at the beginning of the academic session. Arrangements have been made to provide training to all 4,50,000 teachers on various subjects, and their training details will be documented online in teacher profiles.

SCERT experts will also participate online in the training programs at DIETs to provide necessary information to teachers. This will ensure quality training for teachers and prevent arbitrary practices in the name of training.
