UP Weather: Most parts of Uttar Pradesh witnessed good sunshine in the past two days. This brought relief from the cold wave conditions along with an increase in the day time temperatures. Dense fog was seen in multiple areas in the morning and evening. However, from Tuesday, January 21, the weather in the state is set to change. Strong winds are likely to blow and there are chances of drizzle in various districts. As per an update by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are chances of rain in some UP districts from Tuesday. The showers are expected to continue for two to three days. Temperatures are also likely to see a slight drop during the period. As per MD forecast, the weather in UP will remain dry on Monday. However, light fog may be seen in some places in the morning and late night.

UP Weather Forecast

According to the weather department, the speed of the westerly winds blowing in Uttar Pradesh will increase from Monday. This westerly wind blowing at a speed of 20 to 30 km per hour will clear the fog and pay way for sunshine. This will also lead to an increase in the day temperature.

There is a possibility of light rain in the Bareilly region and districts adjoining Delhi NCR on January 22 and 23. This is the first time in the month of January that the IMD has not issued any warning of dense fog anywhere in the state.

UP Weather: Light Rain Likely On Jan 22 And 23

As per Scientist Atul Kumar Singh of the Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, due to the effect of the new western disturbance from January 22, there is a possibility of light drizzle in western UP from NCR to Bareilly. Winds will also blow during this time. There are chances of sporadic rain on January 23 as well.

UP Weather: Temperature To Rise

Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava, a meteorologist at BHU, said that in the coming days, the maximum temperature in UP may rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature is also expected to rise. There will be no significant change in the temperature for the time being.

UP Weather: Etawah Was The coldest

The lowest temperature in UP was recorded in Etawah on Sunday. The minimum temperature here was 5.0 degrees Celsius. At the same time, a slight increase in the minimum temperature has been recorded in many other districts. While in some other districts the maximum temperature has decreased slightly.
