UP Weather Update: UP weather has taken another turn, with the Indian Meteorological Department(IMD) anticipating rain and hailstorms accompanied by thunderstorms in various parts of the state. As per the forecast, many areas in eastern Uttar Pradesh were enveloped by clouds since Saturday morning, with Gorakhpur experiencing rainfall early in the morning.
UP Weather Takes Turn: Temporary Relief From Heat Expected For 72 Hours
Residents can expect relief from scorching heat for the next 72 hours due to a western disturbance. However, temperatures are likely to gradually increase thereafter, with hot weather making a comeback. The eastern winds are also contributing to high humidity levels in the atmosphere.
Yellow Alert Issued In UP Till April 20
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the entire state till April 20, warning of rain and hailstorms. The western disturbance, originating from Iran, has impacted the weather in plain areas.
Many districts of Uttar Pradesh on Friday experienced a dust storm, while Kanpur witnessed strong winds and drizzle on Thursday-Friday night, bringing relief from the heat. The day temperature in Kanpur decreased from 38.4 to 37.8 degrees Celsius, contrary to the normal phenomenon; the night temperature increased from 22.7 to 24.4 degrees Celsius due to cloud cover.

The Indian Meteorological Department(IMD) warned of rain and hailstorms with thunder and lightning till April 20, with a possibility of strong winds in the Kanpur division within the next 24 to 48 hours.
UP Weather Forecast: Agra Sees Surge In Temperature
The temperature in Agra reached 41 degrees Celsius, with Meteorologists anticipating hot wind in the district for the next few days. The heat is expected to intensify after three days. In other districts, the maximum temperature remained around 42 degrees.
Clear Skies And Hot Weather Ahead
Ahead of temporary relief from the heat, the sky will clear up after three days, leading to even more sweltering heat. Residents can expect a challenging week ahead, with the weather department predicting a rise in temperature in Uttar Pradesh.
