UP Weather Update: According to the Meteorological Department there is a possibility of heavy rain in Baghpat, Meerut, Amroha, Rampur, Bareilly and surrounding areas on Tuesday. Rain activity will also be witnessed in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad and surrounding areas. The weather body has issued a rain alert for these districts.

Low Pressure Area Developing In Bay Of Bengal

A low pressure area is becoming active in the Bay of Bengal. It will slowly move towards Agra, which may lead to rain. The city saw cloudy conditions with high humidity throughout the day on Monday.

On Monday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature stood at 27.9 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was 2.4 degrees Celsius less than the normal and the minimum temperature was 1.2 degrees Celsius more. On Sunday, the maximum temperature was 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 26.4 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologist Mohammad Danish said that there are chances of good rain after three to four days. There will not be much change in the temperature right now, he added.

There is a possibility of lightning in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas.
