UP Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has just issued an alert for dense fog till January 19 and rain in multiple UP districts on Thursday, January 16. However, as per the weather body, there will be no significant change in the minimum temperature for the next five days. Fatehpur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 6.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. UP Weather Update: IMD Issues Rain, Thunderstorm Alert

The IMD has issued a warning for light showers in Lucknow and some surrounding areas. Thunderstorms and showers are likely to occur in western UP on Thursday, January 16. According to the weather department forecast, light rain may occur on Thursday in UP's capital Lucknow along with Rae Bareli, Barabanki, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Badaun, Kanpur, Kannauj, Auraiya, Etawah, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Kasganj, Agra, Mathura. Apart from this, dense fog will be seen in the morning and late night at other places. Orange and yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department regarding this.

UP Weather Update: IMD Issues Dense Fog Alert In THESE Districts

Dense fog is likely to prevail in some parts of the state till Sunday, January 19. There will be extremely dense fog in areas including: Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Bijnor and Amroha.

UP Weather Update: No Change In Temperature For Five Days

The weather in UP will remain dry starting January 20, Monday. Apart from western UP, it may rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh today. As per the IMD, there will be no significant change in the minimum temperature for the next five days. At the same time, there may be a slight increase in the maximum temperature after 48 hours.
