The temperature in the northern state, Uttar Pradesh, has risen due to a break in monsoon activity, leading to humid days. Earlier, UP experienced flooding in several low-lying districts due to torrential rain before hotter days made a comeback. However, spells of showers continued. Residents are expected to receive much-needed relief from oppressive heat, as the India Meterological Department (IMD) has issued rain alert in several districts. According to the latest update from the weather department, rainfall will continue in various districts of UP at isolated places for next three days. 

UP Weather Today:  Orangar Alert In Mathura, Rampur Other Districts

According to the Amausi weather centre in Lucknow, eastern Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain cloudy on Monday, with light to moderate rain forecasted in some areas. In contrast, western UP has been issued a heavy rain alert for today, accompanied by a possibility of lightning.

An orange alert has been issued for Monday in several districts, including Agra, Mathura, Hathras, Firozabad, Bijnor, Rampur, Moradabad, and surrounding areas, predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall. Other districts, such as Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Saharanpur, Farrukhabad, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Kasganj, Etah, Mainpuri, Etawah, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun, Jhansi, and Lalitpur, can expect significant rainfall.

Lightning Anticipated In Over 50 Districts

There's a possibility of lightning in over 50 districts across UP, including Kanpur, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Noida, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Bhadohi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gonda, Shravasti, Unnao, Sitapur, and Hardoi. These areas are likely to experience cloud movement throughout the day.

UP Weather Forecast: Rain To Intensify In Eastern Region

As per the anticipated weather conditions, ainfall is likely to intensify in the eastern part of the state on Tuesday due to a depression formed in the Bay of Bengal and an active western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir.
