In a chilling incident, a woman died after being allegedly beaten brutally by her husband and in-laws using a hot iron in Uttar Pradesh's Aligharh, as per a report by NDTV.
As per the report, the accused pressed hot iron all over her body and her genitals. The woman identified as Sangeeta (32) was married for 10 years to Bunty Kumar. Her family has alleged that the accused used to beat her regularly as their dowry demands for a bullet motorcycle and a buffalo was not met.
However, the police have registered a case of murder and not the dowry death. Providing details, the officials said that Sangeeta was a resident of Banupura village in Aligarh district and had two boys.
