The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued important updates concerning several ongoing recruitment processes, including those for BCG Technicians, Junior Assistants, and positions in the Nutrition Department.
The UPSSSC had invited applications for 255 posts of BCG Technician under the Directorate of Medical and Health Services. To be eligible, candidates must have passed the Intermediate (or equivalent) examination with science subjects and hold a two-year diploma in Tuberculosis Programme Management from a recognised institution.
Candidates applying for the main examination are now required to upload their educational certificates to the commission's website by the deadline of October 13. Those who fail to complete this process will not be shortlisted for the main examination. The status of uploaded certificates can also be monitored on the commission's website.
Personal Hearing For Junior Assistant Recruits On October 30
Following the declaration of the final selection result for 1,259 of 1,262 Junior Assistant posts on August 1 and the subsequent department allocation on August 25, the commission is moving to the next stage.
The UPSSSC has decided to verify the certificates and educational qualifications of 26 candidates identified in the final selection list. These candidates have been summoned for a personal hearing at the commission's office on October 30. The roll numbers of the candidates required to attend have been published on the commission's website.
Nutrition Department Recruitment To Proceed For 597 Posts
The recruitment process for positions in the Department of Child Development Services and Nutrition (PushtaharVibhag) has been updated following a court order.

Initially, applications were invited for 739 posts of Junior Assistant and Assistant. This number was later revised to 667 after 72 posts reserved for dependents of the deceased were removed. A writ petition was subsequently filed in the Allahabad High Court regarding this amendment.
As per the court's directive, the recruitment process will now move forward for the remaining 597 posts, while 70 posts from the advertised 667 will be kept vacant pending the final court order. The commission has released a detailed breakdown of the horizontal reservation for the 597 posts on its website.
