Mathura news: A three-year-old girl was raped by her 15-year-old neighbour in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura on Sunday. The girl was playing outside her house when the accused took her to to an isolated place and raped her. 

After the victim's family lodged a complaint, the accused was arrested and sent to juvenile court. More details are awaited.

In another incident, a man (38) from Mumbai was arrested for allegedly raping his 13-year old daughter for two years. The accused was arrested after the victim's mother lodged a complaint against him.

"The accused had threatened to kill her (the victim) if she told anyone about the incident," news agency ANI cited an official as saying.

The incident came to light when the victim's mother found her crying and inquired about it. "The victim told her mother that the accused raped her several times and took her to different places," the Mumbai Police said.

The accused was charged under Sections 376, 367 (2) (N), 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
