Uttar Pradesh: In a move to boost local tourism, a new double-decker electric bus is set to be inaugurated this Tuesday. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh will flag off the "Lucknow Darshan" bus from the 1090 intersection at 10 AM. The double-decker electric bus will take tourists on a curated journey, offering a glimpse of Lucknow’s historical monuments, cultural landmarks, and modern architectural marvels all in a single, convenient trip.

The Tourism and Culture Minister has advised tourists to book their tickets in advance to avail a 10 per cent discount until January 31.

Lucknow Double-Decker E-Bus Service: Check Route, Fare Timings And Other Details

The double-decker electric bus service will be flagged off by Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on January 6. The inaugural flag-off will be attended by tourism officials, travel industry experts, and members of the media, Jagran.com reported.

Public Launch: The double-decker electric bus will be available to residents and tourists for regular city tours from January 7.

Sightseeing: The tour will offer a glimpse of Lucknow's historical, cultural, and modern landmarks in one journey.

Schedule: The double-decker electric bus service will operate two shifts daily, with tours available in both the morning and the evening.

Timings: The morning service will run from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with all tours commencing from the 1090 intersection. The evening tour will begin from 4 PM and conclude by 7 PM.

Fares: The ticket price for adults is set at Rs 500 per person, while tickets for children up to 12 years of age are priced at Rs 400. Light refreshments will be provided during the journey.

Online Booking: Interested passengers can book their tickets via the official website at https://www.upstdc.co.in/ and can avail a 10 per cent discount on all ticket bookings until January 31, the report added.
