Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express: Uttar Pradesh is set to get another Vande Bharat Express, running between Lucknow Junction and Saharanpur, starting Saturday, 8th November. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the train virtually from Varanasi.

The new train will depart from Lucknow at 8:05 am, making stops at Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, and Bareilly before reaching Moradabad Junction at 12:32 PM. For regular operations, the train will reach Moradabad at 9:27 am.

According to Jagran.com, Cultural programs will begin at 11:30 AM, and the train will be welcomed on Platform 1 with flower showers and ceremonial tilak. This is the fourth Vande Bharat Express in the Moradabad railway division. Previously, trains were introduced on Meerut-Varanasi, Dehradun-Lucknow, and Delhi-Dehradun routes. The new train will now connect Lucknow, Moradabad, and Saharanpur, providing faster and more convenient travel for passengers.

The journey from Lucknow to Moradabad will take just 4 hours and 27 minutes, compared to approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes for conventional express trains, saving passengers over one hour of travel time.

Preparations for the train’s first arrival were carried out across the station premises, which will be decorated with national flags, balloons, and banners. Senior DCM Aditya Gupta confirmed that all arrangements for the train’s welcome have been completed.

Apart from the inaugural run, the train will depart Lucknow at 5:00 AM, stopping at Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, and Bareilly, before reaching Moradabad at 9:27 AM.
