The Vande Bharat Express was initially introduced as a special service on the Lucknow–Chhapra route from 25 October to 8 November 2024. Due to growing demand, it was reintroduced from 27 March to 26 April 2025. Now, with rising summer temperatures and increased travel during this period, Indian Railways has decided to extend the service further.
