“The scheme has been proposed keeping in mind the increase in the number of workers as the operation of the Noida International Airport and industrial projects start,” said Yeida CEO Arun Vir Singh, according to the HT report.
The meeting, chaired by YEIDA Chairman Alok Kumar, approved the establishment of a new police station, two fire stations, and recreational facilities within the YEIDA area, according to officials. The fire stations will be constructed on plots of 7,485 square meters each in Sectors 18 and 32.
Additionally, the authority sanctioned the development of recreational zones spanning 700 hectares in Sector 22F and 500 hectares in Sector 23B. These zones will be integrated into the region’s larger green belt.
“The board, meanwhile, rejected a proposal from Supertech Limited that sought to reduce the lease deposit rate for a stalled project from 25 percent to 5 percent. As per the Amitabh Kant Committee the developer needs to pay 25 percent of the premium. Therefore, we have rejected their proposal,” the CEO added.
