YEIDA Housing Scheme 2025: Yamuna Authority is set to offer another opportunity for people to settle near the Noida International Airport with the launch of a residential plot scheme in Sector 15C, as part of the Master Plan 2041. The authority has applied for RERA registration for the scheme, and once launched in the current financial year, applicants will have the chance to purchase plots at the prevailing rates.
In addition, Yamuna Authority has already allotted 803 residential plots this financial year, including 352 plots in RPS 08 and 452 plots in RPS 08A, across Sectors 16, 17, 18, 20, 22D, and 24A.
After nearly all the plots in the residential sectors outlined in the Master Plan 2021 have been allotted, the challenge for the authority has been to release new residential plots. This is crucial to meet the housing needs of the public while also generating revenue for the authority. In the current financial year, the target is to raise Rs 2,500 crore from the residential sector.
To address this demand, the authority has decided to introduce a residential plot scheme in Sector 15C, as part of the Master Plan 2041.
Plot Scheme Launch Expected Soon
The authority currently owns 180 hectares of land in Sector 15C. Initially designated as green space before its inclusion in the Master Plan, the land’s usage has now been shifted to residential. In addition, there is 80 hectares of government land in the area, for which the authority has submitted a proposal to the divisional commissioner for reclamation. Once approved, the land will be registered in the authority's name, and plans for residential plots will be developed.
According to the authority's Chief Executive Officer, Dr Arunvir Singh, the residential plot scheme will be launched as soon as the RERA registration is completed. The scheme is expected to be launched later this month.
The authority has set the residential plot rate at Rs 25,900 per square metre. Property rates are expected to rise in the upcoming financial year. However, with the launch of the plot scheme in the current financial year, people will have the opportunity to purchase plots at the current rate.
