Yamuna Authority Plot Scheme: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), for the first time, is expected to launch a plot scheme in the IT category as well. The authority stated that five plots will be allotted in this category, adding that the decision was taken after multiple renowned IT firms expressed their interest in investing in the authority. The authority stated that the Yamuna Authority is likely to launch a plot scheme in the institutional and industrial category in the ongoing month.

The advisory from the authority stated that while the industrial category plot scheme will be only for the medical device park, the plot scheme in the institutional category will be launched for social organizations, medical colleges, and universities. The authority stated that a two-tier committee has also been formed to complete the plot allotment process with transparency and speed. Apart from this, the authority also stated that a deadline has also been set for scrutiny of applications and interviews.

The authority stated that seven plot schemes have been launched in May, adding that the schemes include industrial plots, group housing, fuel stations, commercial plots, and shops. Apart from this, a plan for a residential plot of 200 square metres has also been prepared by the authority. The YEIDA had earlier stated that it had decided to launch a scheme for the industrial plots after it received multiple applications in this regard.

While providing more details, authority's Chief Executive Officer Arunvir Singh stated that a plan for 55 plots will be launched in the Medical Device Park under the industrial category. He further stated that the construction of these units is underway and is expected to be finished in the next few months. The authority stated that a two-tier committee has been formed to scrutinise the applications.
