Defaulters under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) may get significant relief as the board is expected to approve a One-Time Settlement (OTS) scheme in its upcoming meeting on Friday. If cleared, the scheme would allow defaulting allottees to receive an exemption from penal interest.
The board will also review possession and registration of flats in builder projects that have already benefited from the Amitabh Kant committee’s recommendations, potentially speeding up allotment to buyers.
The meeting, chaired by Alok Kumar, will be held at the YEIDA office from 3 PM. In addition to the OTS and builder project proposals, the agenda includes:
-Amendments to the Heritage City project
-Approval of the New Agra master plan
-Proposals for an industrial plot scheme
-Land acquisition for new sector development
-Decisions on granting permission for land use beyond the buffer zone
Board members will also receive updates on development projects, revenue collection, and expenditures in the YEIDA area. Departmental officials finalised the proposals for the meeting on Thursday.
