BJP MLA Vinod Chamoli has suggested a potential Congress conspiracy behind the recent youth protest, stating that the slogans used by the demonstrators are similar to those raised by Rahul Gandhi. "Their senior leaders are admitting that they are the originators of these slogans," he said.

Chamoli expressed deep concern over the alleged use of anti-national slogans, which he claimed originated in the Kashmir valley, being raised in a military-prominent region like Uttarakhand. He noted that a judicial inquiry into the matter is already underway and urged everyone to await its findings.

Regarding the demand for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe, the MLA clarified the government's position. "Our party and government have no issue with a CBI probe or any other investigation," Chamoli stated. "However, our real concern is the disruption of the recruitment process, which is linked to the future of the youth." He warned that a CBI investigation could halt all recruitment processes for one to two years, wasting the valuable time of the state's young people. "Currently, we are analysing all technical aspects and impacts so that the progress of the youth is not hindered," he added.

Urging the youth to trust the government, Chamoli highlighted the swift actions already taken. "As soon as the information was received, immediate action was taken, arrests were made, and a judicial inquiry was announced," he said. He mentioned that a one-month timeline has been set to uncover the facts, and strict action will follow once the truth is revealed. He reiterated his belief in Congress's involvement, stating that the nature of the sloganeering clarifies their role in the protest.
