The Uttarakhand administration has issued promotion orders for 13 Indian Administrative Service and nine Indian Police Service officers. The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting for their promotions was held on Monday. 

Among the IPS officers, Abhinav Kumar has been promoted to the post of DG. All these promotions will take effect from January 1. According to the order issued by the administration on Tuesday, orders have been issued for the regular promotion of 2010 batch IAS officers Dr Iqbal Ahmed, Sonika, Ranjana, Anand Swaroop, Devkrishna Tiwari, Umesh Narayan Pandey and Rajendra Kumar from Additional Secretary to the post of Secretary, and for the proforma promotion of Eva Ashish Srivastava, an officer of the same batch.

All these officers have now become eligible for the post of Secretary. Meanwhile, orders have been issued for the Selection Grade promotion of 2013 batch IAS officers Mayur Dixit, Vandana, Vineet Kumar, Reena Joshi and Anand Srivastava. 

Among the IPS officers, Nivedita Kukreti has been given a regular promotion, and P Renuka Devi and Barinderjit Singh have been given proforma promotions to the post of Inspector General of Police.

At the DIG level, orders have been issued for the regular promotion of Prahlad Meena and Yashwant Singh Chauhan, as well as the proforma promotion of Preeti Priyadarshini. Meanwhile, Tripti Bhatt and Ramchandra Rajguru have been granted Selection Grade promotions.
