In one of the most horrifying snake and human conflicts, a 15-foot python attacked a man in what was seemingly a forested area. The bone-chilling incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur on July 22, when the said man was reportedly in the jungle for defecation. However, his ‘supposed’ morning routine turned into a nightmare when he was instead attacked by the deadly reptile.
The python, seemingly going for the obvious technique, reportedly coiled its tail around the man’s neck, to eventually swallow him. However, the man’s survival instincts were quick to kick in as he grabbed the reptile’s mouth. The tactic gave the man the chance to call for help, which was heard by the rest of the villagers.
As per reports, the nearby villagers ran to the spot after hearing the man screaming for help in horror. Seeing the situation, the helpless villagers only grew restless as they hardly knew any technique for dealing with a python, which compelled them to attack the snake with whatever they had at hand. From stones to sharp objects, the villagers began to attack the python with anything that could be used as a weapon, resulting in the snake eventually dying, as per reports.

As the incident went viral on social media, people began to react to it. As per experts, the village’s lack of knowledge led to the reptile’s death, which otherwise could have been prevented. Meanwhile, most found rescuers’ reaction ‘relatable’, as they pointed out that the snake attacked with an intent to swallow, making the situation rather ‘urgent’. Some were simply too stunned to comment, while the rest dubbed it one of the worst situations to be in.
