Python Viral Video: In a massive catch that intrigued and petrified social media at the same time, a conservationist, Mike Elfenbein, caught a 17-foot-long Burmese python in Florida. Elfenbein was accompanied by his son and a few more hunters when they came across the 89 kg reptile slithering in the area. Taking to their social media handles, a video and some pictures of the men holding the mammoth catch were shared on the internet, which instantly went viral. As soon as the posts went viral, people began to share their take and gave mixed reactions. From calling it scary to lauding the python’s beauty, people had a lot to say about reportedly the second-heaviest python captured in the state. The video was shared on the social media site Instagram by the user ‘Neighborhood Slob Snatcher’. The pictures of the same were also shared on the conservationist, Mike Elfenbein, Instagram account.

The posts went viral as they intrigued the netizens. Many expressed their fear of snakes and called the incident scary, while some expressed their relief after finding the men safe. Many others called the reptile beautiful and desired to experience the same. The post was shared a few days ago and pulled hundreds of likes.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take on the incident. “My god I would cry catching that thing! good job!” a user said. “Lmk when you’re down here next, would love to tag along!” added a second person. “Why kill verse relocate? I agree they’re invasive, but it’s a beautiful living animal,” said a third user. “Heck yeah! Go Mike! What a beautiful snake,” commented a fourth person. “Thank goodness none of you were hurt or bitten during your attempt to capture her!!!” wrote a fifth user. “I live in Canada and can tell you I’m very happy you caught her!” added a sixth. “I am extremely scared of snakes, and would have run the opposite way after spotting it!” joined a next.
