Viral Video: A 29-year-old woman has gone viral after sharing her bold decision to quit a secure and well-paid bank job without having a backup plan. She explained that the daily grind had made her feel lost and she decided it was time to move on. In her post, she wrote, “Not all heroes wear capes…some just quit jobs. So I closed the chapter that was no longer serving me.” She also shared a video explaining her reasons for leaving and later updated her followers, saying, “I quit my job without a solid plan B. But would love it if you guys could support me in this journey.”
She spoke honestly about the pressure and judgment people face, saying, “Sab log judge karte hai without stepping into the other person’s shoes. Mujhe bhi ye job bhot mehnat se mili thi, dream job jaise thi lekin mujhe nahi pata tha ki asliyat kuch aisi hogi.” She added, “I haven’t seen anybody in the last 3 years who is completely satisfied with this job, but quitting is a privilege only some can afford. I was fortunate enough to have that privilege and I will forever be grateful.”
Her story has struck a chord with many, with people praising her courage and saying it takes bravery to leave a stable job to find personal happiness.

The video shared on Instagram under the username 'pestolicious' just a day ago received 5 million views. "Nowadays, everyone is resigning from their jobs to become a travel vlogger," a user wrote. "I joined SBI in 2009 and I quit in 2021. I opened my own boutique and am running it successfully. I feel so happy and liberated. I can easily understand your perspective," a second user wrote.
"Ma'am, you are not a man. Ask a senior man sitting beside you how many times they dared to declare themselves free, but the burden of responsibilities tied them," wrote a third user. "I can totally relate! I was an assistant manager in a government bank too, and honestly, it was so draining and exhausting. I had prepared so hard for that job, but once I joined, the toxic work culture just took a toll on me. Eventually, I left, even though I had to pay a 2-lakh bond amount. Now I’m in IT, and I’ve realised it’s never too late to start something new," added a fourth user.
"A job is a luxury for some, as they have a strong financial background or alternatives to sustain life. For some, it's a must to be working, the source of their bread, even if it means burning their life; responsibility is a big factor here! Wish you luck, but your reason isn't justified, you didn't talk about the alternative you have chosen, give a full picture for the younger and aspiring new generation," added another user.
