Viral Video: There are a thousand things that could go wrong with flight and a ‘rainfall’ inside the ‘flight’ is surely one of those ‘things’. India’s one of the most hailed airlines, Air India, faced something similar when water started to drip down from the overhead bin in an AI flight. A video of the same was shared on the internet, which went viral in seconds. The passengers were shifted to other seats to avoid further problems. Although the viral clip brought major embarrassment to Air India, the airline still had some supporters as many dubbed it a ‘technical’ issue for which the crew cannot be blamed and can take place with any aircraft.
The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘baldwhiner’. The post was captioned, “Air India …. fly with us – it's not a trip …it's an immersive experience.”

The video instantly went viral as people were left shocked over it. However, despite the inconvenience, many sided with the airline and dubbed it a ‘technical issue’ that could happen with any fight. Some even recalled their experiences when they witnessed something similar with other airlines. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 771K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “This is a technical glitch. Can happen with any airline. Looks like the passengers are more comfortable than guys who propagate the video to defame the airline,” a user said. “Some left their fully filled water bottle in cabin luggage, that might be the reason this is why they ask us to keep water bottles with us. Don't just simply blame the company,” added a second user. “Why is there water dripping in the cabin?” asked a third person.
“Probably condensation very common sight on DC-9s. Nothing to worry about unless it is the lower deck on an A380 with lavs on the upper deck,” said another.
