An intense fight broke out between some people over an issue related to the docking of boats in the US's Alabama, reported USA Today. The incident took place at Riverfront Park in Montgomery at 7 PM. The mayhem was racially divided as it began after a black dock worker was beaten up by a group of white people. Later, the police informed that several people have been detained.

The fight reportedly broke out after a pontoon boat was docked in the space that was regularly used by a riverboat. Several videos of the incident went viral as people released them on social media. In the video, a black dock worker was seen approaching a white man to resolve the issue. But the two soon started fighting. The white man was then joined by more white men who started beating up the black man. A woman was then heard shouting and asking other black men to help the riverboat worker. Soon, some black men came to the riverboat worker's aid and the fight grew bigger.

In another clip, some women were also seen getting involved in the chaos. The scene soon turned way more serious after at least one person fell into the water, while a man started beating people up with a folding chair.

The scene was brought under control after the police intervened. Several people in uniform showed up and started breaking up the fight. Some people were immediately handcuffed, while some were detained later. Reportedly, no names have been revealed by the police so far and charges against some are pending.

The videos were shared on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘shannonsharpeee'. The post was captioned, "Yo this is wild. A group of white men attacked a black security guard after the security asked them to move their pontoon boat so the big Harriot can dock. They refused to and attacked the security guard. A

group of black men seen and went defend him by beating the white men."

The X post is going viral and has received 84.8M views since August 6. Taking to the comment section, the netizens shared their reactions.
