But a woman’s unusual way to search for a lover has left the netizens confused and divided. A woman in the US resorted to the advertisement website Craigslist to search for a “lover/roommate”. The screenshot of the same was posted by a netizen on social media. The post is now going viral as it intrigued the netizens. For those who are not aware, Craigslist is a website through which people search for jobs and houses.

The post was shared on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), by a handle named ‘frida k'. The post was captioned, "Craigslist’s Personals section may have been deleted but it never died— it simply moved to the real estate section."

The X post had screenshots of the said advertisement. The main header of the advertisement read, "Christan Male Lover/roommate Needed." The opening lines of the description read, "I need a straight male lover to come live with me. First 16 days free! Must have a clean criminal background. Must love cats! Room for your children, possibly pets, and/ or mom! I own a nice spacious 5-bedroom brick and wood house in Angleton, TX, a suburb of Houston, and I used to teach fitness so I don't look too bad."

The description went on about other demands and details, where she mentioned about herself and the perks of living with her.

The post is going viral and has received 637.4K views since August 6. The netizens had a mixed reaction to the post as some were impressed, while others did not support the lady's idea of finding a lover.

The comment box was flooded with mixed responses from the netizens.
