American Airlines Viral Video: Air travel often comes with strict rules but one passenger’s rude behaviour on an American Airlines flight has now gone viral. The incident, which took place earlier this week on a flight from Costa Rica to Dallas, showed how a traveller’s arrogance landed her in serious trouble. In the video, a flight attendant was calmly reading the pre-flight safety instructions over the intercom when the woman passenger interrupted by saying she should “shut up.” The remark not only stunned others but also forced the attendant to directly confront her.
Walking up to the traveller, the attendant firmly said, “Do you want to get off the plane? Because I don’t feel comfortable with you if you’re not going to follow instructions.” The video, seemingly recorded by another passenger on board, quickly spread online.
Trying to defend herself, the woman claimed, “I can’t hear.” But the attendant didn’t hold back. She sharply replied, “You’re not on my list as someone who can’t hear. So I’m going to ask the pilot to remove you because you’re not complying.”

The clip, which has now gone viral, has sparked plenty of online debate, with most people backing the flight attendant for handling the situation with authority and calm. The post shared on Instagram by the handle 'jaycrenshaw' two days ago garnered 52k views.
"I actually know that flight attendant… she’s a sweetheart, she handled that situation well," a user wrote. "Failure to comply with crew instructions is a violation of FAA regulations. If you don’t comply, that’s goodbye. Easy," a second user wrote.
"She handled it very professionally. She told the passenger to turn off the phone, but you chose to challenge the crew, not follow their instructions. Disrespect by telling her to shut up.. Is he immediately removed from the flight?" wrote a third user. "I fly with AA weekly, and I have flown with this Flight attendant many times; she’s amazing," added another user.
