Delhi Man Air Purifier Viral Video: Breathing in Delhi has officially become a luxury. As pollution levels in the national capital hit alarming highs, residents are doing everything they can to protect themselves from the toxic air. From masks to air purifiers, every option seems like a small battle in the city’s ongoing war for clean air.
Recently, one Delhi man’s shocking experience perfectly summed up the city’s worsening air crisis. He shared a video online showing the filter of his air purifier completely covered in thick dust and the catch? It happened in just two weeks of use. The clip, which showed the ‘before and after’ condition of his purifier, quickly went viral, leaving everyone stunned at just how bad Delhi’s air has become.
The video sparked a flood of reactions online. Some users joked that he might need to change the filter every day, while others argued that he hadn’t removed the plastic cover properly. A few even suggested that the dust looked more like 'construction dust' than pollution.

Sharing the video, the man wrote, “Delhi is killing your lungs!” He added, “People have been asking which air purifier I use…it’s the Qubo Q400. It’s been working fine for me, plus it has Wi-Fi and Alexa support.”
The video, posted by Instagram user ‘Abhishek Bajpai’, has already received over 1,1 million views, with netizens reacting in disbelief. "Imagine those poor people who can't afford this. These are literally going inside their lungs," a user wrote. "I have seen many such videos, and the person using an air purifier, I can say the filter never looks like this. My purifier has been working for 1 month, day and night, and I still observed a very thin white layer of dust," a second user wrote.
"Don’t do that for cleaning. It is getting airborne again and will get into your lungs. Use a vacuum cleaner or submerge it in water (might spoil the filter’s life)," wrote a third user. "Indian citizens are once again allowing a basic right to be commoditised instead of questioning the government. This happened with water & is now happening with air. Those who can throw money at the problem will survive, while the poor will suffer," added a fourth user.
