Bihar Viral Video: There are humans, and then there are Floradians, and at the end, proudly ruling the ‘will always surprise you in the most unexpected way’ throne, are people from Bihar. The saying ‘Bihar is not for beginners’ is as true as ‘elites travel by Delhi metro’, and there are plenty of examples of the same on social media. Recently, a new incident joined the bandwagon, where a few arrested men were seen pushing an empty-tanked police van after the vehicle stopped in Bihar. The said incident reportedly took place yesterday, February 04, after the van stopped near Bhagalpur’s Kachahari Chowk. A video of the same was shared online and went viral for a variety of reasons.

What caught the most attention, was that proving all the ‘eloping’ scenes from Bollywood films wrong, the prisoners instead began to push the vehicle to the roadside, after they were reportedly asked to do so by one of the officials. As per the report, the ‘hand-cuffed samaritans’ pushed the van for 500 metres. The said video showed the men tied to a rope while they were doing the task ‘dedicatedly’, whereas an official was seen keeping an eye on them. The men were reportedly arrested for violating alcohol laws in the dry state.

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Jist’. The post was captioned, “Bihar: A Police van ran out of fuel in the middle of the road, and it was pushed by the inmates going to court for their hearing".

The video, soon after getting shared, began to do rounds on social media. Most people called it hilarious and shared jokes related to the same, while others dubbed it a ‘typical Bihar thing’ type video. Many also compared the situation with other funny scenarios. The post was shared two days back and has been viewed a whopping 1.2M times by people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Court should consider this ‘act of kindness’ before judgement,” a user said. “Bihar is not for beginners,” said a second person. “So, what do you want??? Should policemen push the vehicle and inmates drive it??” asked a third person.

“It is like teachers asking students to prepare the question paper,” said another. “Reduce their sentence for this?” joked a fifth person. “This is like dad asking me to bring his belt on the day of results,” shared a sixth netizen.

“Or, in our days, the teacher asked the student to bring him the thick wooden scale,” recalled another. “Tell me the video is from Bihar without telling it’s from Bihar,” said another.
