Avocado Pani Puri Viral Video: Move over aloo masala, there’s a new filling shaking up Delhi NCR’s chaat scene and it’s none other than avocado. Yes, you read that right, Avocado Pani Puri is now a thing in Delhi NCR. At Gurgaon’s Galleria Market, the popular Prince Chaat stall has given India’s favourite street snack a quirky twist. Instead of the regular spicy potato stuffing, these golden, crispy puris come packed with chilled mashed avocado, chopped onions and tomatoes. Six of them will set you back Rs 220 and honestly, it’s already become the internet’s latest foodie debate.

Food blogger Karan Marwah was the first to give this experiment a try. In his Instagram Reel, which has already crossed 475K views, he bites into the avo-puri and admits, hand on heart, that he actually liked it. His review sparked a flood of reactions, with many Instagram users calling it a total disaster, while some were curious enough to give it a shot.

But this isn’t the first time fusion food has divided the internet. Remember sushi burritos, croissant-dosas, or even coffee with nimbupani? Avocado pani puri feels like it belongs in the same club, unusual, unexpected, but oddly fitting for Gen Z’s adventurous taste buds.

Social Media Reactions:

"We definitely don’t need this," a user wrote. "Feeling sorry for both pani puri and avocado — neither deserved to be ruined in this tragic combo," a second user wrote. "Conceptually, it makes sense since avocado can act as a base to carry spices and flavors, but it feels more suited to a restaurant setting where it can be served with finesse, rather than in a street cart," wrote a third user.

"Happy to see innovation in Indian cuisine. It makes Italians feel more understood," added a fourth user. "Gastronomically, food culture, food habit-wise, it's a bad combination, very dangerous for health. As fruits are not mixed with tangy water, avocado is highly perishable….. It's just a fad food. Not even for restaurants, hotels, or on the street. Bad pairing of avocado," added another user.
