Balenciaga Destroyed Jacket Viral Video:  Balenciaga is making headlines once again but for a very unique reason. Another striking piece from the high-end fashion label, which is renowned for pushing the envelope with its eccentric designs, is the 'Destroyed' model jacket. Everyone is talking about it on the internet. As soon as it dropped, the internet began to buzz constantly. Despite being made of severely ripped and distressed fabric and resembling something from a fight scene in a movie, the jacket is being sold for an outrageous $950 (roughly Rs 84,000).

Despite the shock value and memes flooding social media, the first batch of this 'Destroyed' jacket reportedly sold out within just 24 hours. Shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle '@Rainmaker1973' went viral in no time, sparking heated debates about the new wave of 'broken yet bold' fashion.

This isn’t the first time Balenciaga has sent social media into a frenzy. The brand earlier made headlines for its “Fully Destroyed” Paris Sneakers priced at a jaw-dropping $1,850, the “Trash Pouch” Bag made of calfskin leather for $1,790, and those quirky Lay’s Potato Chip Bag Clutches that sold for about $1,700 each. Love it or hate it, Balenciaga surely knows how to turn controversy into conversation and once again, it’s got the world talking about what fashion really means today.

The video received many comments from users. While some users found it absurd, others hailed Balenciaga for once again redefining what luxury means in 2025. "Stealing from homeless people and then selling their clothes for $950 is a crazy business model," a user wrote. "I have a load of work clothes from when I did the plastering, one of them got caught a bit in an angle grinder. Will do a discount of $600. Very Tramp Chic," humorously asked a third user. "I don’t understand this? Why would anyone spend $950 on something in this condition, regardless of the “brand”? Easily, this jacket could be found at Goodwill or any local thrift shop for about $5. Is it for “validation” and “alleged cloud”?" asked another user.
