Bangkok Mall Shooting: Deadly chaos erupted in Thailand’s Bangkok after a mass shooting took place at the Siam Paragon Mall on October 03. The police have reportedly detained a 14-year-old over the mall shooting, which claimed two lives. The victims, one from China and another from Myanmar, were foreigners visiting the mall. As soon as the incident surfaced online, people were left terrified and spoke on the gravity of the matter. Several videos from ground zero went viral, where the one that was on the top was of a YouTuber, who was lucky enough to escape the shooting. According to the authorities, the detained boy is receiving psychiatric help.  

Taking to his social media handle, Thailand Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin expressed his grief and extended his support to the families of the people who lost their lives in the shooting. “I would like to express my deepest condolences to the families of those who died in the shooting incident in the area of Siam Paragon Mall. And I would like to offer my support to the family of the deceased. and all those who were injured as well,” the X (formerly Twitter) post read. 

The video of the YouTuber escaping from the deadly situation was posted on the channel ‘JEJU’. The post’s title was written in the Korean language, which roughly translated to, “Bangkok, Thailand shopping mall shooting, BJ's crazy judgment of the situation, safe.”

The video went viral and left the internet horrified. Some called her lucky, while some expressed their relief over the streamer’s safety. Some recalled the two deaths that took place during the incident and extended their grief over the matter. The video was posted two days ago and pulled 84K views from users.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “I feel so sorry for the victims. I'm so glad the woman was able to evacuate quickly,” the user said. “I think you really have great judgment. In a situation like that, I think the best thing to do is just run away,” added a second person. “It's so absurd and scary.. I'm not going to say anything if you swear, but swearing is bound to come out.. I'm glad you're safe,” commented a third person. “Wow, she ran everyone out the door while holding the camera and filming,” said a fourth user. “How can you keep holding the camera? That's amazing,” said another.
