Many viewers quickly offered explanations, pointing out that Bengaluru’s airport is located far from the city center, whereas Delhi’s airport is right next to densely populated areas. "No matter where you go, you just can’t match the Diwali vibe of Delhi/NCR! Being from Bihar, I’m always in awe of the festive energy here. Wishing everyone a bright and joyful Diwali," wrote a third user. "Being a Bangalorean, I think Delhi/ northern states celebrate festivals like Diwali or Holi on a grander scale. At the same time, these states do not celebrate festivals like Ganesha Chaturthi, Yugad, Krishna Janmashtami and Makara Sankranti on the scale that they celebrate down south. It's more of a cultural thing and nothing to do with 'Delhi is better'," added a fourth user.
"Delhi people are trying hard to recover from the Travis concert’s dead crowd," added another user. "Your Diwali is bright, ours is breathable," added another user. "Another reason- coming from a Kannadiga, Diwali is a much bigger and grander festival for states up north. It’s a cultural difference, so not really a fair comparison," wrote another user.
