A viral Instagram video shows a man turning his mother’s old bangles into stunning jhallars (hanging decorations) for Diwali. The best part? His heartfelt way of explaining the process made the internet fall in love with him.

Instagram user Shubham Dandotiya shared the clip with the caption, “Old Things, New Shine | Diwali Recycling Idea.” In the video, he shows how he crafted the pretty jhallars using old bangles that his mother was about to throw away. While making them, he says, “Dekhiye jhallar, sundar hai na, maine un purani chhudiyon se banaya jinhe mummy phek rahi thi... Iss Diwali, kuch naya nahi khareede, balki purane ko naya banaye.”

His words touched a chord with people, reminding everyone that Diwali isn’t just about new clothes and decorations, it’s also about finding joy in giving new life to old things. The message, filled with warmth and simplicity, quickly struck an emotional note online.
