Pizza Bhatura Viral Video: The internet has found yet another bizarre food experiment and this time, it’s called Pizza Bhatura. Yes, you read that right. A video from the streets of Italy, the very home of pizza, has gone viral for showing a vendor mixing Indian and Italian flavours in the strangest way possible. In the clip shared on X, the street vendor can be seen making what looks like a pizza at first. He starts by spreading flour with a large spoon, then adds pizza sauce, a few greens, chicken chunks, chicken pepperoni, spices and a generous amount of cheese.

Everything looks perfectly normal until he places another layer of dough on top and then, instead of baking it, he deep-fries it in hot oil. The result? A crispy, golden dish that looks just like a stuffed bhatura, oozing melted cheese when cut open. Some viewers were shocked, while others couldn’t stop laughing at the strange fusion.

Watch The Viral Video:

Many users pointed out that the dish isn’t actually a 'Pizza Bhatura' but something very similar to a Calzone, a popular Italian baked turnover made from pizza dough and stuffed with cheese, meat and vegetables. The video shared on X by the handle '@MeruOnX' was captioned, "Attention India: Did you know Italians are selling Pizza Bhaturas?"

The video received many comments from social media users. "That looks like nothing more than a round calzone," a user wrote. "I mean, considering what we have done with pizza and past, this is nothing," a second user wrote. "Disgusting? From what angle? It looks amazing," wrote a third user.

"Looks amazing, but the fried bread when puffing seems very similar to our bhatura, which is only stuffed with some cottage cheese and coriander and eaten with warm chickpea sauce," added a fourth user. "In the next 10 years, Cardiac disease will increase manifold times in the region. Save this tweet. Europeans don't have intestines like Indians to digest this," a fifth user added.
