Bengaluru Rains Viral Video: After weeks of intense summer heat, rain can feel like a blessing, but in Bengaluru, it quickly turned into a nightmare. On Sunday, May 18, the city was hit by nonstop rain for nearly 8 to 9 hours, leading to severe waterlogging and flooding across many areas. According to the Karnataka Weatherman, it was the city’s heaviest rainfall of the year so far. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) even issued a heavy rain alert.
By Monday morning, May 19, Bengalureans woke up to a water-filled city. Streets looked like rivers, and many areas were completely submerged. Videos quickly flooded social media, showing everything from soaked homes and offices to people wading through knee-deep water. Some clips were serious, while others added humour to the chaos. With more rain expected, Bengaluru residents are bracing for another wet and challenging day ahead.
