Blinkit Delivery Agent Viral Video: A simple act of kindness may have saved a life in Tamil Nadu recently. A Blinkit delivery agent noticed something was wrong when he received a late-night order for rat poison from a woman who was crying, and his quick thinking stopped a potential tragedy. In a video that has now gone viral, the delivery agent shared how he felt uneasy even before reaching the woman’s house. Hearing her sobs over the phone made him suspicious, and when he arrived, he found her visibly upset. Instead of just completing the delivery, he refused to hand over the three packets of rat poison and gently questioned her intentions.
The woman denied that she wanted to harm herself, but the delivery agent stayed firm. He reasoned that if it were a genuine rat problem, the order could have been placed earlier in the day, not late at night.
In the viral video, the Blinkit delivery agent can be heard saying, "But after reaching the customer location, I told them that they missed the order on the way. I told them not to cry like that. After that, I went to them and told them that no matter what the problem is, don't commit suicide. I told them that they had placed the order for suicide. They told me that they placed the order for suicide. I told them that they are not lying."

After talking to him, the woman finally cancelled the order. "Today, I can say this openly. Today, I feel that I have achieved something," the delivery agent said, reflecting on his actions.
The story has struck a chord online, with social media users praising his quick thinking, kindness, and courage. His alertness and empathy could have truly made a difference between life and death. The video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle '@AAPforNewIndia' yesterday garnered 1.2 million views.
"That Blinkit delivery guy saw a person in need, not just an order. His choice to care first is a powerful reminder for all of us to look out for one another. It’s in these actions that real community is built," a user wrote. "I wonder why these apps allow ordering such items in the first place. The sale of such products should be regulated and done over the counter with verification only," a second user wrote.
