The company, which started in November 2022, came up with this creative idea to surprise its customers and make their rides extra special. Some users, chosen as 'lucky' riders, were greeted not by the usual cars like the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, but by a luxury Mercedes-Benz worth around Rs 50 lakh.
A video shared on social media captured the priceless reactions of passengers when they saw the luxury car arrive instead of their usual cab. In the clip, the cheerful driver can be heard saying, “aap lucky ho,” as surprised riders expressed disbelief and excitement over the unexpected upgrade.
In another moment from the video, a couple sitting in the backseat can be heard asking the driver how a Mercedes showed up for a regular Namma Yatri booking. The driver revealed it was a surprise gift from the company, part of a thoughtful campaign to thank customers and bring a smile to their faces.
