Delhi Metro Viral Video: A video recently set social media on fire, showing a man casually sipping a drink that looked like alcohol and breaking a boiled egg inside a moving Delhi Metro coach. The clip sparked major outrage, with many assuming he was openly drinking alcohol on public transport.
In the viral video, the man pulls out a glass filled with a bubbly golden liquid, cracks a boiled egg on the handrail like it's his personal kitchen counter, and then starts munching and sipping like he's in the comfort of his home. The scene left viewers shocked—and furious.
But before you jump to conclusions, here’s the twist: it wasn’t alcohol at all. The man later revealed that the drink was actually Appy Fizz, a non-alcoholic sparkling apple juice. Yes, you read that right—just fizzy juice.
However, he was arrested after a video of him eating and drinking on a Delhi Metro went viral. He claimed it was just Appy Fizz, not alcohol, but was still booked under Section 59 of the DMRC Act for disorderly conduct.

The now-viral video was originally posted on Instagram by the handle '@foodrepublicindia.' Within just three days, the quirky clip racked up nearly 389k views, catching the attention of amused and confused netizens alike.
As expected, reactions poured in faster than the fizz in his glass. One user joked, “Life in a metro just got too real.” Another added a desi twist, writing, “Delhi Metro mein aapka swagat hai!” Someone pointed out the unexpected scene with, “I’ve seen people romancing in the metro—but this is the first time I’ve seen someone sipping booze… or so I thought.”
