Cab Driver Viral Video: Cab ride dramas are nothing new on social media but this one had a twist. The fight wasn’t about extra fare or a late pickup; it was about a lady passenger who wanted the driver to drop her somewhere different from the location she had originally entered in the app. When the driver refused, things quickly escalated. The driver recorded the incident on his phone, capturing the heated exchange. The lady insisted on being dropped off inside her society instead of on the main road. When the driver stood firm, she threatened, “I will not pay for the ride if you keep denying.”

The driver calmly replied that she could leave without paying if she wanted, but he would not change the drop-off point. “I will not become a rich person if you pay me,” he added, asking her to get out of the cab if she insisted. Still, the woman continued pressing him to drop her off and the argument grew more intense as she began disrespecting him.

Despite her threats and anger, the driver did not give in. He explained he had already driven her to the location she selected and wouldn’t change it. Finally, frustrated and furious, the woman got out of the cab, ending the debate.

The video shared on social media platform X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle '@deepdownanlyz' just a day ago received 1.1 million views from users. While many users sided with the driver for sticking to the rules, others criticised the passenger for her stubbornness. 

"Why didn’t the cab driver mention limits beforehand?" a user asked. "It’s not just about the ₹100—it’s about safety, especially for women navigating streets that aren’t always kind. Driver’s got a point on the cash, but refusing to go that extra bit ignores the real risks she might face walking alone," a second user wrote.

"Driver is right. When the drop-off location was given, where he brought her, why should she force him to drop her somewhere else?" wrote a third user. "Respect to the driver. Every job has dignity in India, but drivers don't get the respect they deserve," added a fourth user. "It is very difficult to point out right or wrong in such cases. Both have their respective points that are equally valid," added another user.
