A Canadian woman, Sadie Crowell, recently posted a video on TikTok which made its way to X, expressing her frustration with a loud Indian wedding procession. She complained that the noise from the music kept her awake all night. When she looked out of her window, she saw a big crowd, which she described as a "baraat," a traditional Indian wedding procession. The video has sparked a conversation about cultural tolerance, with many people reacting to her comments.

In the video, the Canadian woman can be seen sitting in her bedroom, clearly frustrated. She points her camera towards the busy baraat outside her window and says, “I’m just trying to sleep in my f****** bed, and this baraat has been going on all night. It’s 9 a.m. What the f***?”

The video posted two days back pulled 13.5k views from people. However, after the video went viral, Crowell took to Instagram to clarify her comments. Sharing a news article about the incident, she wrote on her story, “I legit thought the wedding was awesome.”

The post quickly got mixed reactions online. Some people criticised the woman for being rude, while others understood her frustration.

In the comment section, people shared their opinions and expressed their views on the matter. "It is so wrong. Making such a fuss in the country that they went to grow themselves. They left India so they have to adapt to the country they reside in," a user wrote. "Hate to say it. But I agree with you. This is pathetic. Such things wouldn't even happen here in Delhi. "Canadians are colorless and music-less depressed people. If make noise in the middle of the night we can understand but daytime for 30 to 60 mins is ok," added a third user.
