MP Global Investor Summit Viral Video: During the second day of the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal, a massive crowd scrambled for food plates, creating a scene of chaos and commotion. A viral video circulating on social media shows attendees pushing and shoving each other in a desperate attempt to secure meals. The event, meant to highlight Madhya Pradesh’s business and investment potential, instead made headlines for the unexpected disorder.
The 8th edition of the Investor Summit began on Monday with high hopes, but it was the dramatic scenes on Day 2 that stole the spotlight. Instead of business discussions, the focus shifted to a chaotic scramble for food, leaving the event in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Both investors & locals are fighting for food.
The video would have broken records had it been from Bihar. Posting it before someone posts it as a video from Bihar. That's the trend. pic.twitter.com/l2KkLxXRJx
The viral video was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle '@idesibanda' with a sarcastic caption comparing the MP Global Investors Summit to a government food distribution scheme. Shared just a day ago, the clip has already garnered 12K views, sparking a wave of reactions in the comment section.
One user expressed frustration, writing, "Why do Indians lack basic civility and manners? The moment they get a chance, they create chaos and take pride in breaking rules." Another user remarked, "The saddest part is that they’re all smiling while fighting for plates at a global investors' meet. It reflects our mentality—grab whatever is free. No wonder the British ruled us so easily." A third user added a sarcastic take, saying, "For those who haven’t attended business conferences, if lunch isn’t mentioned on the invitation, no one shows up—not even the officials. India in a nutshell."
A fourth user sarcastically remarked, "What a great image this must be creating in front of global investors." Another user criticized the state, saying, "Wow, MP is so disappointing. We thought it was nice, but maybe only Indore is clean for namesake." A different user suggested a policy change, stating, "It’s high time for so-called policymakers and politicians to implement a Kaizen policy for rapid food production and preservation!"
