Viral Video: Bringing back nostalgia in one of the most hilarious and iconic ways, a couple won the desi side of the internet with their recreation of the pigeon dance from Salman Khan’s hit song ‘Dil Deewana’. The song in itself was known to people as a bit unique because of its choreography, but the recreation only made it a hundred times more funny as netizens couldn't stop commenting and laughing at the same. Most loved the little details that the duo tried to copy- from the pigeon itself to the fashion of that era- as everything was aced to perfection.
The original song, ‘Dil Deewana’, is from the film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’. The film was a hit when it was released, more than three decades ago; 1989. It starred the adorable duo of Salman Khan and Bhagyashree.
The video, after being shared, went viral and drew major reactions. Most people found the dance funny, while the rest lauded the couple’s creativity as they tried to recreate the scene quite accurately.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Sohinii Pawar’. The post was captioned, “Our last but not the least Monday reel. No, we are not breaking up it’s study time so we will bounce back soon.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “The kabutar flying was hilarious,” a user said. “The Kabutar in the hand, flying Kabutar, the Demi pointe, the jacket patches, the end drop. I’m going as usual, too good!” added a second person. “Tell me one thing- Hassi kaise rokate ho (How do you control laughter),” added another.
“If I have to dance like this in love then I will want to remain single all my life,” joined a fourth person. “After watching this reel, I feel how bad the scene that was,” added a fifth user. “Why was this scene even in the movie? It was so cringe and hardly made any sense. This was a hilarious recreation,” added another.
