Viral Video: The phrase ‘Bura Na Mano Holi Hai’ cannot justify every ‘move’ and every ‘attack’ on Holi, yet some people certainly fail to understand that. Facing the result of the same ‘lack of understanding’, filmmaker Rohan Jain had quite a troublesome Holi, a video of which was shared by him on social media. In the video, the filmmaker was confronting a Delhi girl and her family, after the girl continued to throw water balloons at him despite him asking her to stop. What was further ‘triggering’ was the fact that the family of the girl came in support of her ‘questionable’ behaviour.

The video went viral and left people divided, as some agreed with the filmmaker, and some sided with the girl. Jain, as per the viral post, was travelling to his relative's house, carrying some expensive equipment in his bag.

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘AbhishekSay’. The post was captioned, “Filmmaker Rohan Jain was travelling to his relative's place in Delhi with his laptop, camera gear, and drone. At the drop location, a girl almost hit water balloons on his bag. When he asked her to stop doing so, she threw even more balloons, and her family started justifying it.”

The video is going viral and has received mass reaction. Most people sided with the filmmaker and pointed out the troubling behaviour the girl and her family displayed, while the rest blamed Jain for travelling along with expensive equipment on the day of Holi. The post was shared yesterday and pulled a whopping 1M views from people.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “Festivals are meant to celebrate the spirit of togetherness, not to hurt the sentiments of others. People like these ruin the entire meaning of festivals. Throwing water balloons at someone's expensive equipment and then saying 'Happy Holi'....This is not the way we celebrate our festival,” a user said. “The only day he thought of doing this was Holi is it?” asked another.

“You have very high hopes when you ask about “Consent”…In India, we do not understand what this word means,” added a third person. “I would have come with a water tanker and given them the taste of their medicine,” added a fourth user. “The last generation failed to raise their kids. What they gave those kids is some money and abusive personality,” joined a fifth user.

“He decided to go out on the day of the Holi celebration, that 2 with expensive electronics equipments without protection now complaining? In rainy seasons he does the same when going out with a laptop?” added next.
