Viral Video: An incident posing questions on Delhi’s traffic violations and road safety came forward, where some bikers took matters into their own hands as they chased down a car driver who was allegedly responsible for crashing into multiple bike riders. A video of the said chase was recorded by one of the bikers, who shared the video on social media, making it go viral. As per the clip, a few bikers were already chasing the accused, before even starting the video, because allegedly, the car driver struck down quite a few people beforehand as well.

While on the run, the car driver was seen hitting another biker, who was changing Highway lanes at the time. In the end, the chasers were able to stop the car driver, and the confrontation became evidently violent. The date and exact location of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘paganhindu’. The post was captioned, “Delhi - video of a hit and run.”

The video has been circulating ever since it was shared and left people divided. Most sided with what the biker did and pointed out that the car driver was acting ‘fishy’ before even hitting the biker, while the rest blamed the biker for switching lanes suddenly. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 76K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “The bike rider is totally at fault here. You can't change lanes suddenly and expect others to dodge you,” a user said. “The car driver in the video had already hit some other people before the video. He hit that bike while trying to flee,” pointed out another. “It looks like the biker suddenly changed lanes into the path of the car, and the car could not brake on time. Prima facie looks like the fault of the biker,” added another.

“Why does it look like the car driver did something fishy and tried to run away from the scene even before the car hit the two-wheeler?” asked a fourth person. “Just note down numbers and video evidence is enough people should not take the law into their own hands. He may be in an emergency as well,” added a fifth user.

“The car driver wasn't driving in a single lane, he was in fact driving in the middle of two lanes, there was a chase going on, and the biker signaled before the hit. More was going on before the clip started,” pointed out the next.
