Delhi Man Viral Post: Hiring someone for the first time should be exciting, but for one man in Delhi, it turned into a stressful and shocking experience he’ll never forget. The man, who helps run his father’s furniture business, was looking to hire an accountant to manage the daily work. He shared his experience in his Reddit post, where is wrote, "I work at my father's business in Delhi. It's a furniture showroom (not that big though). I've never hired anyone before, so for the first time, I hired an accountant from naukri.com to do day-to-day work on Tally, such as recording sales, purchases, generating invoices, e-way bills, as well as preparing quotations, etc."

At first, the candidate seemed interested but kept delaying his joining. "The guy didn't show up on the joining date and kept delaying for about 3-4 days, stating some health issues. He came 4 days after the joining date (when I wasn't available in the office due to some personal commitment), called me and said he only came to talk to me.”

"He came the next day, did some work, asked for 500 rupees at EOD stating he needed them for ultrasound, which is weird," the man further wrote in the post. The employer found it strange because earlier, the same person had repeatedly called him and said, “Sir, aap mujhe ₹500 Paytm kardo, main kahi fass gaya hoon, main ghar jaake wapas kar dunga,” and each time, the employer had refused. But this time, he gave in and handed over Rs 500 in cash. After that, the man simply disappeared.

He didn’t return for the next three days. When he finally called back, he said, “Sir, main aapke saath kaam nahi kar paaunga. Mera per day Rs 850 banta hai, aap Rs 350 aur de do.” The employer refused to pay more. What followed was even more disturbing. The man responded with a threat, saying, “Main Jaat hoon, office ke bahar 10 bande le aaunga kal.” He also made several threatening phone calls afterward. After being shared, it went viral, leaving people shocked.

Reddit users, without wasting any time, reacted to the viral post. One user wrote, "If you're feeling scared, just go ahead and pay him for now. Meanwhile, figure out if this repeats in the future what can you do about it. No point losing peace of your mind over 350." "I think he is bluffing, too, but I'm scared of the possibility of him actually showing up. I don't know dude, these kinda guys could do anything," a second user added.

"You, my friend, ended up hiring a fraud. Anyway, he will not do anything. Block him and do your work. Hire someone else and do a proper background check," a third user added. "File a police complaint. Let the police handle this. Get an employment contract in place in the future if you don’t," added a fourth user. "Keep the call on record next time. File a complaint if he threatens again," added a fifth user. "Nothing, he is just a trash guy who showed his colors. Hope you have CCTV," another user added.
