Delhi Metro Viral Video: Social media is full of Delhi metro shenanigans, as Delhi’s favourite transport never disappoints when it comes to chaos and drama. From fights, arguments, and dance to stunts and even ‘mini-concerts’, the Delhi metro has seen it all. With that in mind, it makes sense that yet another Delhi metro incident hardly surprised anyone, as it was shared online. A video of the incident was shared on social media, where a man was seen getting brutally publicly thrashed by the passengers of the metro. As per the post, the violence against the man was triggered over alleged theft. The man also tried to deboard the metro but failed miserably. The exact date and location of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video, after getting shared, pulled many reactions. Most people found the beating justified and dubbed it normal for the Delhi metro, while the rest chastised the passengers for taking the law into their own hands.

The Delhi metro video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh Inside Delhi Metro (Thief Got Caught inside Delhi Metro).” The video was shared yesterday and received 393K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Politicians have started using Delhi Metro?” a user said. “Sad reality of unemployment in India,” added a second person. “I understand that the man was a thief and had the intention of robbing people of their hard-earned money, but this type of public beating was rough,” commented a third user.

“@OfficialDMRC Any update on this incident?” asked a fourth user. “A thief was caught during a confrontation inside the Delhi Metro while attempting to steal. The incident highlights ongoing safety concerns in public transport,” added a fifth person. “Guess he thought he could make a quick getaway, but the Delhi Metro doesn’t play around!” added another.
