A video was shared on social media, where a man was seen ruthlessly getting beaten up by a number of passengers at a metro station. The public thrashing was triggered over an alleged theft attempt that the accused tried to execute. The accused was seen getting dragged and slapped as people showed their anger against him. Some found the man’s beating ‘justified’, meanwhile, the thrashing was rather a ‘crime’ to many- as some believed that the man should have been handed over to the authorities.

The exact date and location of the incident could not be confirmed. The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘gharkekalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh over thief Got Caught inside Delhi Metro.” The video was shared today and pulled more than 22K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Taxes are caught a lot in Delhi,” a user said. “Why are you hitting him so much, bro? I understand the gravity of the crime. But this is a bit too much. People should instead hand him over to the police and not take laws into their own hands,” added another.
