CID Fans React To Show’s Return: It seems like the iconic dialogues like- Darwaza tod do Daya! or Kuch To Gadbad Hai Daya- are all set to echo the Indian televisions after a break of more than half a decade. Yes, the much-hailed Indian television series CID is back and fans are losing it. For those unaware, the investigative TV series ended in 2018, after running for two decades. The show began in 1998 and only ended up dominating every Indian household as people surely fell for the thrill, twists, turns, and unexpected climaxes that used to make each and every episode a fun yet intriguing roller coaster ride. With such a fantastic plot and a cast full of talented names like Shivaji Satam, Daya Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava, fans’ excitement was bound to skyrocket.

As soon as the return was announced, fans began to express their excitement for the show and its characters. From dubbing the entire thing a callback to their childhood to remembering all the iconic characters from the drama, fans surely had a lot to add. A few also remembered the show’s comedic gem ‘Fredericks’- played by actor Dinesh Phadnis- who passed away last year in December.

Coming to the show's announcement, its first look was shared on October 24. Meanwhile, the promo was  dropped on October 26.

The first look was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Sony Entertainment Television’. The post read, “Mark your calendars - 26th October ko hoga ek dhamakedar promo drop!”
