Viral Video: Apart from basic education of numbers and alphabets, paying attention to one’s basic general knowledge was always also a part of the education system. Yet, it seems like we somehow ‘failed’, as a video of some youngsters giving some of the most bizarre answers to a simple GK question left the internet with scratching heads. The said question- who is the Father of the Nation- which had a simple answer, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, got all kinds of responses from the said youth, except for the correct answer itself. Believe it or not, one of the interviewees even called ‘Delhi’ the father of the nation.
The interview was basically a vox pop, where a man was interviewing some youngsters. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the answers were plain disasters, some may say. The video of the same went viral and left people ‘too stunned to speak’.
The video went viral as it left the internet questioning the education system. Many also shared jokes about the confidence that the kids had despite their bizarrely wrong answers, while the rest were disappointed over the answers and chastised the youth's lack of basic education.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ashok_Kashmir’. The post was captioned, “Firstly, just speaking English doesn't necessarily mean that one has some knowledge; secondly, there should be proper inspection of their schools and teachers.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 140K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “This is the condition of education and youth in ten years!” a user said. “Have they gone to any school????” said a second person. “There is none declared as father of nation officially. You ask the wrong questions and confuse students. Make fun of them,” added a third person.
“State of Vishwaguru Bharat in just 10 years!” added a fourth person. “Youth makes us Proud. I wish thodi padhai likhai karte. (I wish they would have studied more),” commented a fifth user. “This is also a kind of anti-Gandhi narrative,” commented a sixth user. “All are kinda right except who said Delhi and Gujrat. I agree with all of them,” added another.
