Delhi Woman Viral Video: Imagine going to a much-awaited comedy show full of excitement only to have your mood completely ruined because of something as basic as dirty washrooms. That’s exactly what happened with wellness coach Mitushi Ajmera, who recently attended Zakir Khan’s live show at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Stadium. Mitushi took to Instagram to share a video about her bad experience, calling out the poor hygiene and lack of proper facilities at the venue.
She said she was shocked to see most washrooms closed and the few open ones in a terrible state. The video, titled “Why do women avoid drinking water at events?”, quickly struck a chord with women online who could relate to her frustration.
In the clip, she said, “Main Zakir Khan ke show mein gayi thi, Delhi ke Indira Gandhi Government Stadium mein. Full energy, performance immaculate but saara josh neeche aa gaya jab main washroom gayi. Raaste mein aur bhi restroom areas dekhe jo band the. Band kyun the? Kya unme sona chandi laga hua hai? Aur jo ek do khule the, unka haal bahut kharab tha, seats tooti hui thi, flush nahi chal rahe the. 30–40 ladies line mein thi, jinme ek do pregnant ladies bhi thi, aur unhe un khubsoorat toilet mein restroom use karna pada.”

Speaking as a wellness coach, Mitushi explained how this is not just about comfort but health too. “Main wellness coach hoon aur main roz sunti hoon ki kitni ladies paani peena avoid karti hain jab wo aise events mein jaati hain ya travel karti hain, sirf isliye taaki unhe toilet use na karna pade. Aur iska result hota hai UTI, kidney issues, dehydration, sirf isliye kyunki unke basic sanitation par koi dhyaan nahi deta,” she said.
She also questioned why a government facility like Indira Gandhi Stadium couldn’t ensure clean and accessible toilets during such a big event. “Indira Gandhi Stadium ek government facility hai. Zakir Khan aur event organisers ne paise diye honge, toh toilets locked kyun the? Basic facility kyun missing thi?” she asked.
Ending her video, she made a strong point that many women resonated with: “Ladies ko yeh sab kyun jhelna padta hai? Main kaise chup rahun jab mujhe pata hai ki aise chhote issues badi health problems mein badal jaate hain. Humein iss par baat karni chahiye taaki authorities aur organisers tak yeh baat pahunche aur wo iss par dhyaan dena shuru karein. Clean toilets privilege nahi, basic necessity hain.”
Her powerful message has sparked an important conversation online, reminding everyone that hygiene and sanitation are not luxuries, but basic rights that every woman deserves, no matter where she goes.

I have stayed dehydrated, left home early so many times in such events and it's more concerning that pregnant women had to go through this." "This might become a great danger for us, so it's better to ask for the basic necessities," a second user wrote.
"Thank you so much for raising such a cardinal issue! I suggest tagging @zakirkhan_208 as well. I know this post isn't against him and it wasn't his fault at all. But he is a celebrity who is known to have the most beautiful heart. With his kinda platform, he can help raise this awareness," wrote a third user. "You are right ma'am, this kind of event must have such facilities, Delhi government, recall this," added a fourth user.
